Have you paid attention to your author name on your blog?
If not, check it out simply by viewing one of your posts on the front-end, just like your visitors see it. Are you happy with the name that shows up? If not, it’s time to edit it with a two-minute-max admin change:
- Log into your Dashboard
- Under your “Users” tab on the left, click “Your Profile”
- Here you will see the below screen, with a spot for your WordPress username, full name, and nickname. Notice the drop-down menu at the bottom of my screenshot. That’s where you can choose who to attribute your posts to; click on the name that’s there to see your other options and choose what you’d like your author name to show as. Don’t like your choices? Just edit the name in the “nickname” section to add it to the drop-down menu list.
- As always, click “save” at the bottom. Then check out the front-end of your blog to confirm the change has gone through.
