Share your WordPress content on Facebook, Twitter, and more
Jetpack’s Sharing option is a component of the Publicize feature — so if you’ve already installed Publicize’s options, you’re good to go!
The sharing feature allows you to add several one-click buttons at the bottom of your posts; readers can easily and quickly help spread out your blog post via these buttons.
Some of the available buttons include: Facebook, Digg, Twitter, StumbleUpon, email and print.
To install the sharing feature:
Go to the settings tab in your blog’s dashboard, choosing the sub-category “sharing”. Near the top of the page, in the “Sharing Buttons” section, you’ll notice the available options that WordPress includes.
Simply drag and drop the services you’d like available either: 1) in the area marked “Drag and drop available services here” for individual buttons, or 2) in the shaded box to hide them behind a share button.
Jetpack gives a few more additional options; you can also choose: button styles, sharing label title, where to open the links, which posts to have WordPress likes enabled, and where to activate these buttons.
If you would like to customize this feature even more, WordPress also allows you to add your own unique sharing service! Simply click the link “add a new service”, input the name, URL, and icon URL and click to create a personalized button!
Find out more about this feature through Jetpack by watching WordPress.com’s video below about it or by going to the support page.
