Chat System Highlight: Zopim
As a blogger, the ability to chat directly with your clients and customers online can be a great way to engage with them right from the get-go–especially if you are implementing a blog or website for the purpose of growing your business. Giving them the opportunity to communicate with you in an easy, no-pressure way can be a great solution for those who want a quick answer to their questions without the hassle of calling you.
As you can see, I’ve incorporated the plugin/system of Zopim on my website. You can see it popping out on the bottom left of the page. Since I have my Zopim account connected with my Gmail, I get chat alerts via my email when I’m not in Zopim and a reader starts a conversation with me.
Another plus in utilizing Zopim is the ability to monitor visits–from number of visits a day to where the visitors are from, and even down to if this visitor is a repeat reader. It tracks all visitors–not just visits from those who have chatted with you.
